    • 50% Deposit is required via direct bank transfer to secure your booking date and times once agreed.

    • Full and Final payment must be made 14 days prior to tour or event date.

    • Additional payment facilities can also be offered to meet individual requirements.

    • Tap and pay – please enquire for arrangements.

    • $AUD Cash options - please enquire for arrangements.

  • Down South Drivers will pick you up from a pre-agreed & booked location & drop you back, provided it is within 10km of the operational area townships listed below:

    • Geographe

    • Busselton

    • Vasse

    • Dunsborough

    • Cowaramup

    For areas outside these please call or Email to discuss your requirements.

  • You will be travelling in our car or minibus offering seating options & flexibility for up to a maximum of 6 passengers.

    • Our Private Driver & Transfer services operate from 6am – 6pm Daily.

    • Our Half Day Wine tours operate between 10.30am & 5.30pm dependent upon your individual booking arrangements, lazy lunches and scenic stops.

    • If your requirements are our outside 6am – 6pm, please enquire.

    • As you might already know getting transport around the Margaret River region can be very challenging.

    • Down South Drivers understands this challenge and aims to offer convenient and cost effective solutions to meet your needs.

    • YES,

    • Our vehicles have air conditioning and heating – our drivers will check in with you regularly to make sure you are always comfortable.

    • We endeavour to ensure they are always comfortable, clean and tidy.

    • We only offer “Private Charter” & “Bespoke transport solutions”, this meaning, you will only travel with friends & family on every trip.

    • Please note that we are not a Taxi service, all tours must be pre-planned and pre-booked.

    • Our “On Demand services” require prior contact, booking, and payment.

    • Yes, we welcome families, please ask about children’s seating & conditions.

    • Please kindly remember that Minors must be supervised by a guardian at all cellar doors & venues.

    • Yes, however please remember pets are only welcome at certain venues; please check with the ones you intend to visit to ensure they are “Pet Friendly” prior to booking.

    • Please ensure you read our terms of service for supporting information on transporting pets, venue requirements, vehicle soilage & cleaning costs Etc…).

  • Snacks on board are not a problem.

    • No.

    • WA state legislation does not allow consumption of alcohol aboard any of our vehicles.

    • You are welcome to bring your own water; we will be carrying some complimentary water for you along the way.

    • We encourage the use of refillable containers whenever possible.

    • We have close working relationships with many / most wineries in the region, the wineries we visit can occasionally change at short notice dependent upon daily operational challenges such as unplanned / unexpected power outages, breakdowns, venue closures, poor weather conditions, road closures Etc….

    • We accommodate specific winery visit requests if possible, however, during peak season, the region gets extremely busy and booking lunch venues & drop-in visits on short notice cannot be guaranteed.

    • For our Half Day wine tour, you will be offered a tour itinerary clarifying which wineries will be visited prior to departure.

  • Yes: book a Private Chartered Tour option ( Your day – Your way) and we will help you visit all your desired locations.

  • Yes, however spare room is at a premium, foldable devices are always preferred.

  • Many of the wineries in the region are happy to assist you with shipping your purchases worldwide. (Rates vary & you should enquire at the venue).

    • We recommend:

    • SPF50+ sunscreen

    • Appropriate ID for proof of age:

    • Australian Driver’s License or Passport 

    • Caps / Hats & sunglasses

    • Light fleece in Spring/Autumn

    • Weatherproof jacket in Winter 

    • Cash or credit / Debit card / Tap & Pay for purchases 

    • Mobile phone / camera to capture some unforgettable memories!

    • Our private charter tours & transport services do not include lunch; we strongly recommend that you book lunches & times at wineries as early as possible!!!

    • Please remember that between October & April all Margaret River venues may be “Booked out” well in advance, our advice is BOOK IT NOW! to avoid disappointment.

    • We will work closely with you to make sure you are at your chosen venue on time & will allow sufficient time for you to enjoy your day.

    • All tastings at wineries, distillers and gourmet food samples will need to be paid for direct to the venue operator.

    Every venue we visit is pre-booked in advance so that they can provide great service, cater to any dietary requirements & provide you with the best possible experience on the day. 

    Please help everyone to help you have a great day by booking early.

  • Do you cater for people with food allergies?

    • We strongly recommend you clearly explain your dietary requirements to your lunch venue whilst making your EARLY booking.

    • If you have an allergy or medical condition (even if it’s not food-related) please add it to the booking notes. It’s important that we know these things in case of emergencies - for example if you have an allergy to bees, are diabetic, or are anaphylactic to nuts or seafood Etc…..

    • Yes!

    • Tours go ahead rain, hail or shine! Our vehicles are heated & air-conditioned.

    • please dress light if the weather is looking warm.

    • Please wrap up warm if the weather is looking cold or wet.

    • Our private tours allow you to have a tour tailored to the experience you are after, at your own pace so you can spend the most time at the places you enjoy.

    • When booking a private tour, you will have options to customise the tour, and the ability to provide information about the travellers and their individual needs so that we can tailor the day to suit you.
